Cognitive Health

These are the most important things to do to keep your mind in its best working condition and to decrease the chance of dementia:

  1. Exercise.  Even just moderate daily exercise of 30 minutes can make a huge difference.
  2. Eat Omega-3 fats.  This is brain food, found in nuts, avocados and fish.  The latest research suggests that taking Omega-3 supplements may not be particularly effective.  As a rule of thumb, try to get nutrients from real whole food.
  3. Reduce stress.  Stress is very harmful to your brain.  We will provide stress reduction in future releases
  4. Socialize.  This is very good for stimulating the brain.  Isolation puts your brain at risk.  Spend timely daily socializing with friends an family.
